Your Purpose as a Reconditioning Manager: Lead the daily operations of the detail department, including coaching, scheduling, performance management, and employee development. Oversee vehicle reconditioning and detailing processes to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and meet company quality standards. Manage internal repair orders from creation through completion, including preparing estimates, coordinating approvals, and ensuring accurate documentation and invoicing. Partner with the sales and service teams to coordinate vehicle readiness and ensure timely completion of repairs and reconditioning activities. Monitor workflow between the detail department, service department, and outside vendors to maximize efficiency and vehicle turnaround times. Maintain quality control standards while fostering a positive, team-first culture and exceptional guest experience. Other duties as assigned by Management. Requirements Basic Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Previous experience in automotive reconditioning, detailing, service operations, or dealership operations preferred but not required. Previous leadership or supervisory experience required. Additional Qualifications: Experience managing repair orders, repair estimates, and vehicle workflow preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to coach, develop, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple vehicles, repair orders, and competing deadlines.
