Record Retrieval Support Specialist Shift hours: 08:00 am PST – 05:00 pm PST, including break Long-Term Seasonal Role Pay Rate: $13-15/hr Duties and Responsibilities: Handle outgoing medical records requests through our portal. Contact healthcare facilities and doctors’ offices to request records and answer emails. Provide good customer service on the phone/ via email. Follow company policies and laws to protect confidentiality. Report any issues to the Manager. Keep the Supervisor updated with necessary information. Report any customer service issues or potential HIPAA violations. Inform the Supervisor about any work difficulties or special requests. Help with extra tasks when needed. Stay informed about HIPAA regulations and facility policies. Use Microsoft Word and Excel for back-end tasks. Ensure accurate data entry. Be flexible and handle challenging situations professionally. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Effective communication in English. Previous administrative or back-office experience, especially in healthcare, is preferred. Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. Understanding of medical records processes and HIPAA regulations. Strong organizational skills to manage workload and meet goals.
Responsibilities
