JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Accounting Specialist to join our Record-to-Report (R2R) team. This role involves supporting month-end closing, reconciliations, journal entries, and inventory accounting processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The position requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (required).

EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous work experience in accounting or a related field (preferred).
  • Customer service experience (preferred).
  • Skills:


    • Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting.

    • Familiarity with month-end closing activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook) and other computer systems.
    • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and customer service excellence.
    Responsibilities
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to optimize accounting processes.
    • Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
    • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and financial reports.
    • Perform consolidations and eliminations as required.
    • Conduct inventory accounting and analytics to support financial decision-making.
    • Support accounting activities related to cash accounting and cost accounting, including subcontractor, labor, and equipment expenses.
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate with teams across localized operating companies to support seamless accounting operations.
    • Identify and promote process improvements, including automation initiatives, to gain efficiencies.
    • Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, supporting professional development and innovative thinking within the team.
