Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Recording Engineer who can also teach music lessons. This role blends professional studio work with music education, providing the opportunity to both produce high-quality recordings and inspire students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and run recording sessions in our professionally soundproofed studio equipped with industry-standard gear.
  • Record, edit, and mix projects using Pro Tools or Logic.
  • Apply proper miking techniques for various recording needs (e.g., ORTF stereo, vocals, piano, drums, etc.).
  • Perform mastering when needed (an asset but not required).
  • Maintain studio equipment and ensure smooth technical operation.
  • Teach at least one instrument (guitar or drums) to students of different ages and levels.
  • Encourage students’ musical growth, creativity, and confidence.
