GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Support the FedScale team by providing on-site, records retention support services for the United States Department of Agriculture on Plum Island. The Records Analyst position reports to the on-site Project Manager and coordinates with the Business Analyst (BA), to prep and scan all records/documents. This role is vital in completing the imaging process and obtaining our conversion objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED/PREFERRED)

Education

  • High school diploma or higher.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of work experience in document production/support role in a mailroom/clerk, medical, banking, legal or insurance type of setting.

Personal Characteristics

  • Have a high attention to detail and quality control.
  • Have excellent computer skills and ability to report bugs in the software.
  • Is fluent in computer productivity software and internet research.
  • Positive Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet goals.

Clearance

  • Possess our obtain Department of Homeland Security suitability clearance.

Travel

  • This position will not require out of town travel.
  • Must use customer provided transport to the facility.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the highest standards of privacy, data quality, data integrity, confidentiality, and security.
  • Receive, organize, scan and shred documents as assigned.
  • Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning – document preparation
  • Manage all operations of high-volume, continuous feed document scanners and associated software.
  • Maintain scanning queue with prepared documents and monitor for quality, double feeds and errors to ensure the process is accurate and complete.
  • Ensure smooth operation with a proven track record of using and troubleshooting printer/scanner queues, and related processes including supplies and overall maintenance.
  • Help perform quality assurance on the data that flows through the system and report issues to the on-site BA.
  • Coordinate with teammates to request prepared documents to ensure timely turnaround of scanned records.
