Responds to requests for documents from members of the public (e.g., veterans, funeral homes, County Veteran Service Offices, veteran organizations, federal & state agencies/offices, & individuals providing appropriate authorization) Serves as agency point of contact for public records requests Works with DVS legal office, overseeing DVS’s record management program. Provides routine administrative support: (e.g., composes correspondence & prepares outgoing mail utilizing the Microsoft Office platform; assists with mailing projects; prepares reports as assigned; copies, files, emails, &/or faxes materials); performs other duties as assigned.
