EWORD Solutions is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Records Retrieval Document Clerk and Field Technician to support our growing operations. This role combines office-based document processing with extensive field work throughout Southern California. The ideal candidate enjoys managing their own workload, is comfortable working independently, and prefers being on the move rather than sitting at a desk all day. This position requires the use of a personal vehicle and frequent interaction with record custodians. Key Responsibilities Field Records Retrieval Receive in-person service assignments for subpoenas throughout Southern California. Plan and manage efficient driving routes to cover multiple locations per trip. Deliver subpoenas, pick up records, and perform on-site mobile scanning using a portable scanner when required. Carefully track facility-specific requirements and requested record types for each assignment. Office & Mail Processing Print, log, and manage witness fee checks using case management software; maintain secure handling of blank checks stored in a locked file drawer. Prepare outgoing mail, including printing documents, labeling envelopes, applying postage, and placing mail in outgoing collection. Scan incoming mail (records, payments, correspondence) and route documents to the appropriate department, primarily Production. Administrative Coordination Communicate with internal Order Entry and Expediting teams to manage workload and priorities. Maintain accurate documentation and follow established workflows to ensure timely and compliant processing.
