Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Records and Sterilization Technician to support our clinical operations. This dual-role position is essential for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a sterile, organized clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Records Duties Capture high-quality patient photos, X-rays (including panoramic and cephalometric), and 3D scans. Accurately enter and maintain patient records in our digital system. Prepare diagnostic records for new patients and case presentations. Organize and store imaging files and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and office policies. Sterilization Duties Clean, sterilize, and prepare all instruments and equipment used during patient care. Ensure sterilization and infection control procedures meet OSHA and CDC guidelines. Monitor and maintain sterilization logs and quality assurance checks. Keep sterilization and storage areas clean, stocked, and organized. Qualifications Experience: Prior experience in a dental or orthodontic setting preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment. Familiarity with dental/orthodontic software and imaging equipment is a plus.
