We are seeking a focused and results orientated individual to join our Recoveries team. This role is responsible for managing our motor recovery claims, whilst delivering exceptional member service.
Location: West Perth offices & Work from home 50% of the time
Working hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Hours: Work Monday to Friday and have weekends free! Alternate Shifts including 7am to 3pm and 9am to 5pm
Pay: Competitive base salary + super + incentives + discounts!

What will you be doing?

  • Manage recovery files to maximize outcomes.
  • Investigating liability and identifying recovery opportunities from third parties and their insurers.
  • Negotiating settlements and pursuing recoveries through direct contact, legal channels, or external providers.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally—both verbally and in writing—throughout the recovery process.
  • Monitoring recovery performance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring all claims are managed in line with RAC Insurance policies, procedures, authority limits, legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
  • Deliver service that consistently exceeds member expectations.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in recoveries, debt collection, or claims handling.
  • Strong understanding of motor vehicle liability principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions based on evidence.
  • Empathy and professionalism when handling challenging conversations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • A team player who actively supports and uplifts others.
  • Previous experience in the motor insurance industry (highly regarded).
