Description The Opportunity: Recovery Coach, Behavioral Health Services Job Type: Full-time, On-Site Pay: $50,000/ year Who We Are || VOAMASS gives members of the community who need help the most the services, support, and self-esteem they need to create a fresh start. At VOAMASS, our dedicated teams are committed to serving the whole person. As a Recovery Coach, you’ll have a dynamic and critical providing peer-to-peer services in the community and at our extended care facilities. The Recovery Coach will also find and participate in the development of community resources; provide coaching and support recoverees in directing their own recovery, staff training, and liaison with the management of assigned sites as needed. Some of your critical responsibilities: · Delivers coaching services at assigned sites ensuring that services follow professional standards including all written documentation and maintenance of client records as required by third-party payors and VOA. Provides coaching, advocating, and liaising to extended care facilities in order to maintain and expand these programs whenever possible. Recovery Coaches who achieve full-time status are required to maintain an active billable caseload of thirty (30) hours per week on average (calculated quarterly minimum). Five minimum contacts per month with each assigned client. Participates in planning and developing of Recovery Wellness Plan. Maintains records according to VOA Policies and Procedures, completing all documentation and billing in a timely manner. Coordinates with external referrals sources in order to build and maintain target caseload. Provides other services as may be requested. You’ll bring the following qualifications: · A High School Diploma, or equivalent Lived experience with 2 years minimum in recovery Completion of the CCAR training with the intention of completing courses necessary for licensure Experience in the human services field and residential settings, providing strengths-based coaching and recovery orientated relationship building Excellent written and communication skills and experience with technology Since 1934, VOAMASS has provided critical services to the residents of the Commonwealth.
