JOB DESCRIPTION:
DMN is one of the UK’s leading vehicle movement companies. Our Rapid Logistics business is focused on moving specialist support vehicles across London and surrounding areas, we are looking to expand our team with new drivers wanting to start a new and exciting journey with us.
As a Recovery Driver you will play a key role in providing a reliable, efficient and courteous service to our customers. We are looking for qualified Recovery Drivers to assist in the efficient and safe recovery of vehicles, ensuring our clients receive timely and reliable assistance during vehicle recovery activities.
You will promote our company values and standards and exhibit a happy, helpful and courteous service with all those that you come into contact. This role requires all staff to pass NPPV and CTC security vetting.
DRIVING QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum Driving Licence requirement. Class 2, ideally Class 1. For those with Class 2, training will be provided to achieve Class 1
· Must have Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) – with up to date 35 hours training.
· Trained to IVR level 1-6, 27 level 2 (Institute of Vehicle Recovery) strongly preferred. We can provide IVR training upon completion of probation.
· Must hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (with up to date training) and a valid Tachograph Card
EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a recovery or tow truck driver
· Knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques and equipment
· Must have confident knowledge of tachographs, driver hours legislation / working time directive
· No previous disqualifications from driving (DR, CD, DD, IN OR TT99 endorsements will not be accepted)
· Uphold a high standard of safety and professionalism in all recovery operations
· Strong team player with a positive, proactive, and flexible outlook
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines
· Capability to work unsupervised and maintain high standards
