WHAT IS THIS ROLE ABOUT?
Join our dynamic team at Bondora, where you will lead and transform our debt recovery operations in the Finnish market. As the Finnish Debt Recovery Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving recovery strategies, managing the default portfolio, and ensuring compliance with local regulations while creating a positive impact on Bondora’s growth and success.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Establishing and driving the debt recovery process in Finland, adapting strategies to local conditions, regulations, and cultural factors.
- Managing the default portfolio, ensuring efficient tracking, collection, and recovery.
- Leading and implementing strategies to optimize recovery rates and align them with company objectives.
- Building and maintaining relationships with external partners such as legal advisors, courts, bailiffs, and collection agencies.
- Staying updated on market trends and legal requirements in debt recovery, sharing insights with stakeholders.
- Monitoring and analyzing portfolio performance, using key metrics to refine and enhance recovery efforts.
WHAT WOULD ENSURE SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE?
- 3+ years in debt recovery within the Finnish market, with a strong understanding of local practices, regulations, and customer behavior.
- In-depth knowledge of debt collection laws, compliance requirements, and risk management.
- Proven track record in optimizing recovery workflows and managing Non-Performing Loan (NPL) portfolios.
- Strong negotiation skills and an established network with DCAs, bailiffs, and other stakeholders.
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving and task execution, actively engaging in recovery processes when needed.
- Strong analytical skills to assess recovery data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies.
