JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Recovery Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient collection and delivery of customers vehicles. This position requires a combination of mechanical knowledge, driving skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure optimal operations within our resource recovery facilities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driving licence with experience in commercial driving; flatbed or lorry driving experience is preferred.
  • Must have C1 license & live in Derry area
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience as a recovery driver role is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills,to effectively liaise with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to safety practices and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities
  • Operate flatbed vehicles and vans for the collection of vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding collection schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in loading and unloading vehicles at the yard .
  • Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and address any challenges in the recovery process.
