If so, Olympic Health and Recovery Services (OHRS) invites you to apply for the role of Recovery Support Supervisor. This pivotal position oversees and supports the daily operations of several key programs including the Housing and Recovery through Peer Services (HARPS), Peer Bridger Program, and the Community Behavioral Rental Assistance (CBRA) program—critical resources for individuals transitioning back into the community. Salary Range: $86,825.44 - $113,145.76 annually based on education, experience, and parity within the organization. This position is salaried and classified as FLSA exempt - not overtime eligible. Major Responsibilities: Provide recovery-oriented supervision to certified peer support specialists Support peer staff in maintaining ethical boundaries, practicing trauma-informed care and upholding the core values of peer support including voluntary participation, empathy, transparency and strengths-based approaches. Responsible for knowing and adhering to HCA HARPS and Peer Bridgers contract requirements. Responsible for adhering to Department of Commerce contract and guidelines requirements for CBRA program Responsible for HCA HARPS and Peer Bridger contract deliverables to include gathering information and accurate and timely reporting, including PDAMS submissions. Provides supervision of the Western State Peer Bridger Program, HARPS Program and CBRA program teams to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with applicable WAC and RCW rules and regulations. Process referrals from inpatient residential SUD facilities and psychiatric hospitals. Assign referrals to appropriate Certified Peer Support Specialists.) Overseas approval processes and ensures fiscal accountability of housing funds and participant support resources to safeguard program integrity. Addresses and resolves participant and community inquiries and concerns. Train, supervise and evaluate staff performance; provide coaching, counseling and corrective action for performance issues. Attend and participate in all program-related meetings. Facilitate program meetings as requested. Conduct one-to-one supervision with each direct report and weekly team meetings HARPS, Peer Bridgers, CBRA Approve staff time sheets bi-weekly and review requested sick leave and/or vacation. Serve as the lead and primary point of contact for HARPS PDAMS-related deliverables. Responsible for quality assurance of chart documentation, ensuring records are accurate, forms are complete and comply with agency standards and/or contractual requirements. Responsible for carrying a small caseload in the HARPS program. Responsible for back up coverage to housing program staff when they are out of the office. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience Must hold a bachelor’s degree in a counseling or counseling related field and 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field. Must hold a Washington State Department of Health Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) credential, or meet qualifications to obtain it, including Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery (or be a parent/legal guardian of a child with such experience). Holding an active CPC credential Successfully completed the Peer Specialist Supervisor Training provided by the HealthCare Authority within 6 months of hire Washington State Department of Health (DOH) CAAC license or higher is required. Supervisory experience preferred. Must have satisfactory background checks as required by state and federal contracts. Must have satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report, valid Washington State driver's license and proof of insurance. Skills and Abilities Ability to work closely in a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and collegiality with program participants, other OHRS staff, and outside agencies. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and respectfully manage differences, opposing perspectives, opinions, and interests. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of recovery principles, focusing on hope, person-centered care, and strength-based approaches Familiarity and knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems. Knowledge and experience with my AVATAR. Ability to utilize a personal computer with applicable software to successfully perform essential job functions of the position including word processing, excel, analysis, information retrieval, and tracking. Ability to triage and prioritize resources. Ability to develop relationships and work with community stakeholders and partners Familiarity and knowledge of best practices for alcohol/drug abuse treatment and prevention programs, mental health, and developmental disabilities programs as well as with local social service agencies. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Ability to accurately meet documentation requirements, in a timely fashion. Working Conditions Work is generally performed indoors, in an office, in the community and in psychiatric and substance use disorder inpatient facilities. Requires travel to a variety of community locations May require availability to work flexible hours. Minimal physical exertion is required. May be required to lift or move boxes/equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
