This role provides training, support, and coaching for the recovery support techs and peer support staff and manages the kitchen oversight of the program. This role involves working with all team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, while maintaining compliance in all organizational and program policies and procedures. Ensures a positive and therapeutic environment for clients and staff and works collaboratively with other departments and community partners to support client recovery and program growth.   These duties include overseeing all day-to-day operations of the programs, adhering to the program budget. Is responsible for weekly/monthly reports on all clients’ program attendance as well as ensuring all staff are trained correctly to complete all the required documentation correctly in the EMR.  Also, the RST Supervisor is responsible for ensuring there is sufficient staff coverage. In the event of vacancies, the supervisor will screen and hire applicants.   WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE: The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma, or GED.  Two years of post-secondary education. Five years prior experience in a treatment facility (or other specialized knowledge and experience) and at least three-year supervisory experience required.  Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.  Must have ability to meet people and be CPR certified, upon 30 days of employment.     RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain operational control of the programs. 2. Provide strong leadership and provide direction to program staff. 3. Overseas day-to-day operations of Addiction Recovery Services. 4. Ensure programs operate within budget, manage resources effectively and responsibly. 5. Monitor program performance against established goals, and objectives, identify areas for improvement, then implement the necessary changes. 6. Ensure a client-centered/trauma informed approach to care, promoting dignity and respect. 7. Ensures that clients are receiving efficient and effective services within a trauma informed environment. 8. Collaboratively develop and implement program policies and procedures, fostering a cohesive and collaborative team. 9. Implement and monitor risk management processes to ensure client and staff safety. 10. Conduct and document all individual supervision with shift supervisors, peer support supervisor and the cook 11. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support staff’s professional development. 14. Address staff performance issues in a timely and effective manner that adheres to our human resources policies. 15. Ensure Recovery Support Techs and Peer Supports complete all required training. 16. Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes staff well-being and retention. 17. Screen and interview recovery support staff, ensuring there is adequate staffing for programs. 18. Monitor the accuracy of non-clinical documentation completed by Recovery Support Techs. 19. Facilitate monthly staff meetings to ensure there is efficient and effective service delivery that adheres to all program procedures. 20. Address all client complaints and grievances, if unable to resolve, escalate them according to policy. 21. Insure facility cleanliness, maintenance, health and safety of the facility. 22. Ensures that RST/PSS staff monitor client duties/chores. 23. Ensure fire and other safety measures are carried out and be familiar with basic functions of fire equipment, breaker panels and evacuation plans 24. Maintain a current CPR and First Aid certificate 25. Maintain appropriate staff to client ratios by working closely with shift supervisors on scheduling of tech staff. 26. Ensure that staff/clients have sufficient supplies. 27.
