BINGO! We have just the job for you! Heather Heights is looking for a vibrant and energetic Activities/Recreation Aide to join our outstanding team! This position is part-time and would require flexible hours with weekend availability! In this role you will be expected to: Interact with residents and understand their needs and limitations with respect and empathy Develop, lead and engage in diverse activities that cater to a wide range of interests and abilities including but not limited to, arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, music sessions, outings, Holidays and special events Encourage the participation and social interaction of residents during group activities Monitor the behaviors and outcomes of an activity ensuring positive feedback and engagement Provide individual attention and planning to resident-based needs or interests Minimum qualifications: HS Diploma or GED Responsible, dependable, and enjoy leading group activities Musical abilities and experience with seniors are a plus!
