Responsibilities:

Team ARU operate within the Estates & Facilities service at ARU and are responsible for the provision of Sport and Physical Activity for Students, Staff and members of the local community. As part of this provision, we operate on-campus Sports Facilities including Mildmay Sports Centre on our Chelmsford Campus. Based at Mildmay Sports Centre, you’ll be a key customer facing member of our team who will work with the rest of the team to contribute towards the smooth running and operation of the Sports Centre and the associated facilities.
With a range of GCSEs at A*- C grades or a vocational qualification at NVQ level 2 or equivalent, you’ll have demonstrable experience working in a customer focussed environment. As well as a passion for Sport, Health and Fitness, you’ll have good attention to detail and the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with using computers and basic software applications is essential whilst previous experience of working in a Sporting environment either through paid employment or on a voluntary basis is desirable.
