Be Remarkable.  I seek ways to be extraordinary and deliver a positive impact every day.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities  The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: * Supervise daily operations of all Fort amenities—including both pools, water slide, football field, basketball court, pickleball court, playground, and lake (fishing & paddle boats)—ensuring proper use and maintaining a secure environment. * Provide active and caring supervision of Bluejack members' children while using The Fort area (e.g. guiding to restrooms/snack areas, engaging in their chosen activities), and monitor behavior for their safety and enjoyment. * Provide care for children including active play, feeding meals, swimming in pool with child, and occasionally provide infant care. * Assist in planning, preparing, and leading age‑appropriate organized recreational activities such as swim sessions, mini‑sports tournaments, creative group games, and structured lake programs for various age groups. * Inspect, maintain, and routinely clean recreation equipment, amenities, and high‑traffic areas; ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. * Enforce all guest rules and facility policies (e.g. swim attire, guest limits, paddle‑boat usage); intervene in unsafe situations and promptly address behavioral concerns. * Administer basic First Aid or CPR in the event of minor incidents; initiate emergency procedures if necessary, and complete incident reports as required. * Maintain accurate documentation, including daily attendance logs, equipment use/check‑out records, incident and maintenance reports, and communicate observations to parents or management. * Collaborate with teammates to support smooth opening/closing operations, share shift coverage, and adjust schedules during high‑volume periods or special events. * Engage positively with children, families, and adult members; respond to questions, provide guidance about activities, and contribute to an inclusive, friendly atmosphere. * Assist with the setup, breakdown and service of Fort events as needed. * Additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership.   Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Must be at least 18 years of age. * Prior experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus. * Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work with children of various ages and backgrounds. * Organizational skills to plan and execute activities effectively. * Physical ability to engage in recreational activities and handle equipment. * Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. * Must be able to lift 50 lbs. EDUCATION: High School diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.   APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS: Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays, schedule flexible as business dictates.   Physical Demands and Work Environment   The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment.  While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift.
