Description
The Recreation Attendant (Desk Attendant) monitors resident and guest use of club facilities for adherence to the Rules & Regulations regarding facility use. In addition, will assist in functions/duties relating to operation and maintenance of facilities.   Location: Centre Village Condos in downtown Minneapolis, MN Weekend/Night Shift: Friday night - Saturday morning, 11pm - 7am, & Saturday night - Sunday morning, 11pm - 7am Hourly rate: $22 per hour   Duties include but are not limited to: * Responsible for regular contact with residents (in-person, phone, and email). * Informs residents and guests of Rules & Regulations as needed. * Assist with amenity reservation requests. * Record calls and in person visitors with unit and purpose in the notebook provided.  * Check voicemail upon arrival for shift and following rounds. * Sweep lobby area as needed (especially in the winter) and check for trash (including outside entryway).  * Complete shift report each shift, reporting any damage, violations, loud noise, or needed repairs. * Check lobby and other common areas for trash or misplaced packages. Check packages have unit numbers on them.  * Check trash area (outdoor and trash room), elevators, stair entryways, event lounge, bathroom, gym, spa, and pool/pool deck. * During pool season, lock up at closing time. After close, check the lock.  * Walk each floor. Report/take photos of any damage, trash, mechanical malfunctions, burned out light bulbs, or water in halls, ceilings, carpet, or storage rooms.  * First and third shifts of the day, change elevators and skyway doors per building schedule. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge and Skills  Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).  Professional customer service skills.  Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.  Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.  Time management and time critical prioritization skills.  Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish fluent) Education and Experience  High School Diploma or GED Required   PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and to reach above shoulders with hands and arms in order to file a variety of documents; use hands and fingers to input data to information system; and talk or hear in order to gather and provide information on  departmental processes. The employee is often required to sit in order to process information and conduct data entry activities. ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS Work is performed in a climate-controlled office without exposure to adverse environmental conditions such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, toxic agents, violence, disease, or pathogenic substances.
