Job Specific Adheres to all pool safety standards, including safety procedures for adverse weather conditions Knows the location and contents of First Aid Kit Greets guests arriving at the pool Provides towels to guests, escorts them to chairs, and sets up towels on chairs Provides information about pool food and beverage service and offers menus Promptly communicates food and beverage service requests to pool Food and Beverage Servers Provides chilled towels and water spray bottles/ spritzing per Loews Hotels standards Knowledgeable and able to communicate all hotel Recreation offerings Loans recreational items and equipment Sets up, refreshes, and tears down cabanas Assists in set-up and tear down for poolside functions Cleans, maintains, and positions pool furniture Picks up trash and dirty towels and repositions chairs throughout shift Applies excellent guest relations skills when interacting with guests Performs all duties in a timely and professional manner Turns in lost and found items throughout shift according to hotel procedures Monitors and maintains appropriate inventory of pool towels throughout shift, obtaining clean towels from the laundry and returning dirty towels Attends all department meetings as scheduled Other duties as assigned General Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards Complies with required safety regulations and procedures Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules Recycles whenever possible Remains current with hotel information and changes Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards Qualifications Excellent guest service skills Excellent oral communication skills Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Headquartered in New York City, Loews Hotels & Co is rooted in deep heritage in the hotel industry and excellence in service. Responsibilities
