The position is Grade 2 in Council’s salary system (from $27.15 - $30.40ph) plus 12% superannuation. A minimum of 10 hours per week up to a maximum of 20 hours per week (generally worked between 3pm – 8pm weekdays) will be required.

Leeton Shire Council is seeking a Recreation Attendant on a permanent part-time basis to join the team at the Leeton Pool and Leeton Indoor Stadium. If you are passionate about customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 18 years of age with relevant customer service experience and hold a current Working with Children Check.
• Current Food Handler Basics and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain.
• Possess and maintain a current Class C driving licence.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Competence in cash handling and reconciliation
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the public and fellow employees
• Honest, reliable, and a team player
• Willing to engage in skills training as required

• Provide excellent customer service at the Leeton Pool kiosk and Stadium (admissions, selling food & drinks)
• Assist with equipment setup and cleaning
• Support the delivery of programs at the Leeton Indoor Stadium
• Supervise patrons on the Leeton Pool waterslide
• Ensure patrons are admitted correctly and admission fees are collected
• Maintain a positive public image and provide excellent service
• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of pool and stadium facilities
