Job Title: Outdoor Discovery Facilitator Department: Recreation Services Supervisor: Chris Lyle Starting Rate of Pay: $8.00 Length of Time: Eligible for rehire on a semester basis. Department Description: Recreation Services aims to provide spaces and activities that allow students to focus on healthy, active and community driven lifestyles while at HPU. Job Description Represent HPUREC with a positive, enthusiastic attitude while leading/motivating groups at the HPU Outdoor Discovery Center. Responsibilities: Lead students through all elements of high and low ropes course Communicate the challenges provided by the various activities Motivate others to work together and successfully complete tasks Assist in maintaining the aesthetics of the ropes course Be creative with stories and various activities for participants Other duties as assigned Qualifications: It is preferred that applicants should have prior experience working on a ropes course and knowledge of how one operates.
