Duties and Responsibilities:  * Inspects daily operations and cleanliness of the pool, deck, and bathhouse. * Assists the Recreation team with special projects and events as assigned. * Supports and monitors recreation staff in the completion of daily work duties. * Provides guidance and feedback to staff in accordance with established rules and regulations. * Observes and monitors swimmers and bathers while on deck to ensure safety. * Enforces pool policies, procedures, and safety rules. * Communicates routine maintenance and cleaning of the pool, deck area, and bathhouse. * Provides assistance to swimmers and bathers as needed, including basic first aid. (Non-Lifeguard duties) * Assists in training employees on standard duties and expectations of recreation staff positions.   Qualifications/Requirements/Experience/Education:  * CPR/AED certified (can obtain upon hire). * Must be at least 18 years old. * Experience working with children preferred. * Sound physical condition to be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. * Supervisory or leadership experience preferred. * Must be able to lift up to 60lbs. * Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driver’s license.   Safety Responsibilities and Requirements: * Performs job responsibilities according to the company safety and training programs. * Reports safety or hazard concerns to management. * Reports any on the job injury to management. * Takes personal responsibility for safety every day.
