Summary
The Recreation Supervisor will be in charge of the successful daily operations of the recreation department, including supervisory duties. These activities include the beach, pool, and activities. This person will also have general management responsibilities, including interviewing, scheduling, training, and counseling colleagues. The Recreation Supervisor will respond to guest emergencies and complete incident reports. As a Recreation Supervisor, you will need to work outdoors and stand/walk for long periods at times.

Responsibilities
  • Will make sure to plan the operations efficiently.
  • Run the Daily Report for the team.
  • Walk the Recreation pool and beach areas frequently and ensure that all is clean and organized.
  • Supervise the areas and staff, including Contractors.
  • Will coach, guide, and motivate the Team.
  • Assist the Team when needed in cleaning and maintaining our areas.
  • Control that all Department sanitation standards/protocols are followed correctly by the staff.
  • Point of contact for resolving all guest opportunities
  • Manage the palapa reservation system
  • Manage the closing of daily Recreation operations, ensuring all areas are clean and organized and all equipment is secured.
  • Will make sure that the team is updated on all need-to-know information during pre-shifts and is in charge of the team’s working schedules
  • Assist with conducting Mid and end-of-year colleague check-in conversations
  • Keep track of yearly compliance training.
  • Assist with the Monthly Inventory.
