Responsible for provision of therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned caseload. Ensures all patients are oriented to recreation therapy and provides hospital wide leisure, social and divergent programs. Serves as an educator to patients on community resources. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required. Responsibilities

The Recreational Therapist plans and implements appropriate recreation activities for patients according to organizational and professional guidelines, while also being responsible for providing therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned caseload. This role includes orienting patients to recreation therapy and offering hospital-wide leisure and social programs, in addition to educating patients on community resources.
