REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or diploma in Recreation Therapy or a related field.
• Experience in senior care or working with individuals with dementia is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and families.
• Ability to create engaging recreational activities that cater to diverse interests.
• Knowledge of case management principles is an asset.

• Develop and implement individualized recreation therapy programs tailored to the needs of senior clients.
• Facilitate group activities that promote social interaction and physical engagement.
• Assess clients’ interests and abilities to create meaningful recreational experiences.
• Collaborate with caregivers and family members to ensure holistic support for clients.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recreation programs, making adjustments as necessary.
• Provide documentation and reports on client progress and participation in activities.
