  • Strong understanding of UK right-to-work and compliance requirements (DBS, references, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple vacancies.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven.
  • IT literate (experience with applicant tracking systems or recruitment CRMs desirable).
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for care staff – from sourcing candidates to ensuring compliance with CQC and Home Office regulations. This role is vital in maintaining staffing levels to meet client needs and supporting the agency’s growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively source, screen, and interview candidates for domiciliary care roles (Care Assistants, Senior Care Assistants, Live-in Carers, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through job boards, social media, referrals, and local networking.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with CQC standards, safer recruitment practices, and UK employment law.
  • Complete pre-employment checks including right-to-work, DBS, references, and mandatory training.
  • Manage the candidate journey from application through to successful onboarding.
  • Work closely with the Care Coordinator and Branch Manager to understand staffing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and compliance records.
  • Promote the agency brand and support local recruitment campaigns (e.g. job fairs, community events).
  • Track recruitment KPIs and provide reports on vacancies, hires, and pipeline progress.
