ABEC’s products include process and equipment engineering/consulting services, comprehensive site services, and stainless steel and single use bioprocess equipment, including bioreactors and fermenters, filtration and chromatography systems, prep and hold systems, and cleaning/sterilization systems. Position Summary: The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process ensuring that our company builds and maintains a skilled workforce to meet production goals. This role requires an understanding of skilled labor environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Core Responsibilities: Partner with hiring managers, leadership, and Human Resources to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies. Source candidates using a variety of methods, including job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and community outreach. Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and coordinate interview processes with hiring managers. Manage the candidate pipeline for manufacturing roles, ensuring timely communication with applicants. Attend career fairs, industry events, and community workforce programs to promote employer brand and attract talent. Collaborate with the Human Resources Coordinator or Generalist to ensure smooth new-hire onboarding experience. Maintain recruitment metrics, track applicant flow, and provide regular reports on hiring progress. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company hiring practices, including EEO and diversity initiatives. Continuously improve recruiting processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and retention. Execute other tasks as assigned. Some occasional travel for recruitment events or weekend work. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. At least two years of experience working in Recruitment or Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting or performing high-volume recruitment. Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and recruiting best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a high-volume environment. Ability to build and foster relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and community partners.
