Description
Recruiter The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommending top candidates through both traditional and innovative methods. This role requires strong interviewing skills, a solid understanding of organizational structure, and working knowledge of personnel policies, procedures, and employment laws. Under the direction of the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter partners closely with hiring managers to develop and implement effective hiring strategies that support organizational needs. This is a fast-paced, high‑volume recruiting role, managing approximately 50 open requisitions at a time. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enhance their recruiting skills in a unique industry with strong support, clear processes, and a team-oriented environment. You will also be provided a phone screen script to use during initial candidate outreach. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, ensuring timely and efficient hiring processes. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, prioritize openings, and maintain consistent communication. Source active and passive candidates using Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, X‑ray searches, job boards, online tools, career fairs, community events, and other channels. Review applications, conduct pre-screens (including scripted phone screens), and identify qualified candidates. Schedule and coordinate interviews; prepare interview materials and questions. Conduct or participate in interviews with managers, directors, and internal stakeholders. Deliver verbal and written contingent offers for exempt and non‑exempt roles; manage negotiation and offer execution. Manage the internal transfer process, including interview coordination and offer letters. Ensure thorough documentation, compliance, and accurate tracking of candidate activity within the ATS. Create, post, and manage job advertisements internally and externally. Provide weekly recruitment reports in collaboration with People Operations. Maintain strong relationships with internal partners to meet hiring goals and support organizational culture. Stay informed on recruiting trends, sourcing strategies, and employment law compliance. Attend workshops, meetings, job fairs, and recruitment events as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Remote indoor work environment with frequent use of computers and phones. Extended periods of sitting or standing. Occasional bending, reaching, or movement of items up to 25 lbs. Requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Must be able to adapt to shifting priorities and occasional high-stress or emotionally sensitive situations. Required Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of recruiting experience with strong understanding of recruiting principles. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms. Strong sourcing skills using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other online tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to manage high-volume requisition loads and meet deadlines. Strong negotiation skills and sound business judgment. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Experience Level Entry Level to Early Career, with emphasis on: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high‑volume recruiting environment. Comfort using scripts for phone screens while still maintaining professionalism and a great candidate experience. Strong desire to grow and develop recruiting skills in a dynamic and unique industry. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
