Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an ambitious, gritty Recruiter to own and build our talent engine from scratch. This isn’t your typical HR desk job—as our first dedicated recruiter, you’ll architect the recruiting process end-to-end and work directly with the founders on our most critical growth priority: hiring amazing people.

You’ll recruit across all functions:

  • Engineers to build our SaaS products
  • Instructors and curriculum designers to scale the bootcamp
  • Sales and marketing talent to drive growth
  • Operators and specialists to keep execution sharp

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full-cycle recruiting across all departments – partner with hiring managers, source, screen, interview, negotiate, and close. You are the point person for every hire.
  • Design our recruiting engine from scratch – create workflows, scorecards, and assessment methods. No HR red tape—just fast, smart execution.
  • Source top-tier talent by any means necessary – LinkedIn, Github, niche communities, referrals, hackathons, meetups, cold outreach. You’ll hunt for the best, not wait for them to apply.
  • Act as a strategic partner – coach founders and team leads on hiring practices, candidate calibration, and market realities. Protect our high hiring bar.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience – high-touch, fast-moving, and honest. Candidates should leave every interaction more excited about joining.
  • Juggle multiple roles at once – an engineer on Monday, a trader on Wednesday, a sales closer on Friday. You’ll thrive on context-switching and high volume.
  • Track and improve metrics – define success (time-to-hire, conversion rates, channel ROI), measure it, and refine our process relentlessly.
