Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
Summary of Position: The Recruiter will manage the recruitment and talent selection process for various positions within the company to ensure Ameritech is attracting, motivating and retaining a high-performing, diverse, and successful workforce. The position is responsible for coordinating recruiting efforts, onboarding employees, training, and other general human resource duties. This position will also be involved in the development and maintenance of a new talent database.

THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE REPRESENTATIVE, BUT NOT ALL-INCLUSIVE, OF THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS JOB.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience with recruitment and interviewing
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Must be able to pass a background check
Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Support HR processes and business requirements including recruiting, on-boarding, training, and transactional personnel tasks
  • Working unsupervised to effectively manage open positions
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements
  • Create and manage databases to report on recruitment and employment related statistics
  • Assist with the development, delivery, administration, and implementation of employee training programs, including employee orientation programs
  • Collecting, reviewing, and submitting new hire paperwork to ensure all required documents are completed, entered and filed in a timely manner
  • Traveling to areas in need of staffing to assist in recruitment efforts. Direct recruit applicants as needed to ensure high end applicant flow supports growth
  • Sourcing, onboarding, and scheduling subcontractors
  • Act as employee liaison to ensure smooth transition from candidate to employment and continued professional success
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned
