• What you’ll doMap the market and identify the partners and senior lawyers our clients want
• Make the approach with confident, credible cold calls to people who aren’t expecting to hear from you
• Uncover what really drives a candidate, and build the case for a move
• Manage sensitive, high-value processes from first call through to offer
• Build long-term relationships in a market where reputation is everything

• What we’re looking forA sales background, whether in recruitment, business development or any role where you’ve had to win people over and hit numbers
• A genuine work ethic. Headhunting rewards consistency, persistence and getting on the phone when it would be easier not to
• Gravitas and credibility: the presence to hold your own with senior partners and earn their trust quickly
• Resilience, curiosity and the ability to read people
• Legal sector experience is a plus, not a must. Attitude and ability matter more
