ABOUT THE JOB We are seeking a Recruiter to own and drive intern and early career hiring strategy for our Emerging Talent team. Based in the Costa Mesa, CA office, you will operate independently as a subject matter expert, ensuring we recruit top-tier talent and shape our long-term talent strategy. WHAT YOU’LL DO Experienced professional with comprehensive knowledge of hiring strategy and execution, including intake and stakeholder relationships, often in partnership with sourcers. Drives top-of-funnel pipeline results through metrics-based measurement, such as sourcing outreach and offer/close rates. Operate Autonomously: Serve as a trusted talent advisor for complex hiring across Emerging Talent in particular to recruit for Hardware Engineers: Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Firmware Engineers, etc. Leverage a deep understanding of university recruiting and trends related to hiring. Execute university recruiting trips and events as needed. Holds a specialization while remaining agile, supported by foundational expertise in TA principles and practices. Manages diverse hiring challenges with competing deadlines and priorities. Assesses ambiguous requirements using data analysis and problem-solving techniques to identify causes and suggest solution variations. Partners with hiring managers to align TA actions with stakeholder expectations. Collaborate closely with the emerging talent team, program managers, coordinators, hiring managers, and senior leadership to shape recruitment strategy, guide process improvements, and drive high-impact, complex hiring projects. Advises on workforce planning through regular strategic updates and business reviews. Acts as a subject matter expert using tools like Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and email to engage passive candidates and conduct initial interviews, ensuring high interview-to-offer ratios by anticipating hiring manager preferences. Builds talent maps and leverage market intelligence to adapt hiring strategies in response to competitor movements and emerging trends. Represents Anduril's brand internally and externally, using internal resources to effectively sell our value proposition. Influences and elevates recruitment best practices, ensuring a consistent and exceptional candidate experience while continually driving process efficiency and quality across high-stakes projects. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition. Proven ability to convey complex information in simple terms and drive a data-driven narrative. Demonstrated leadership in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with a focus on strategic stakeholder alignment. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a track record of influencing organizational best practices. Deep knowledge of recruitment technology and a passion for innovating processes to achieve creative and effective TA goals. Must be authorized to work in the United States Ability to travel to execute university recruiting trips and events as needed PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in startups, tech, and relevant hardware domains Ability to work independently with little supervision. Flexible and solution-oriented in troubleshooting routine obstacles. Analyzes complex hiring issues through a business lens or data, requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. US Salary Range $1—$1 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
