Description The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies tailored to the manufacturing industry and specific plant needs. Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of manufacturing roles. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, job specifications, and preferred qualifications. Utilize multiple recruitment channels, including online job boards, social media, career fairs, and employee referrals. Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure timely fulfillment of hiring needs and minimize production downtime. Track recruiting metrics and provide regular reports to leadership on hiring process, challenges, and successes. Stay current on trends and best practices in manufacturing recruitment and workforce development. Attend career fairs and work with schools to source candidates. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements · At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred. · SHRM, or HRCI certification preferred. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. · Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. · Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. · Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. · Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. · Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. · Proficient with recruitment marketing.
