Description

The Recruiter II plays a key role in attracting top corporate talent to the organization. This position manages an active workload of nonexempt and exempt requisitions across a variety of corporate and administrative areas. The Recruiter II partners closely with hiring managers to secure the most qualified candidates, while building strong relationships and maintaining a pipeline of future talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage an active workload of open requisitions, filling primarily nonexempt and exempt positions across finance, IT, marketing, health affairs, fundraising, and other corporate areas.
  • Perform full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommending candidates to hiring managers.
  • Attend department meetings to provide staffing updates and present other relevant information.
  • Review resumes and credentials for alignment with position requirements, referring qualified candidates while balancing candidate level with budget constraints.
  • Build strong relationships and partner with hiring managers to maximize recruiting effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage a talent pipeline to ensure qualified candidates are available when needed.
  • Provide objective assessments of candidates and manage candidate flow effectively.
  • Coach hiring managers on screening, interviewing, and selection techniques to ensure compliance with diversity commitments and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with candidates, providing complete, accurate, and engaging information about the hospital and available opportunities.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes, recruitment trends, and innovative techniques to remain competitive with best practices.
  • Manage workflow using best-practice recruiting methodologies within the parameters of OFCCP/EEO, Affirmative Action, and other compliance requirements.
  • Oversee job posting activities, including internal postings, external job boards, and agency referrals; ensure accurate applicant tracking records.
  • Extend offers of employment with appropriate approvals and negotiate as needed.
  • Network and participate in external events to enhance marketplace knowledge and organizational visibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of recruiting experience (additional experience may substitute for degree).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to apply creative sourcing techniques to identify both active and passive candidates.
  • Skilled in interviewing methods such as behavioral and skills-based interviewing.
  • Knowledge of EEO/OFCCP and employment-related regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion, with an understanding of its role in building a high-performing workforce.
