Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Recruiter in mechanical Industry to manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and non-technical roles within the oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, Manufacturing and energy industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of upstream, midstream, and downstream operations, combined with excellent sourcing, screening, and client engagement skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong knowledge of oil & gas sector job categories, project lifecycles, and technical terminologies.
  • Excellent sourcing and networking skills using modern recruitment tools (Indeed, ATS Tools).
  • Ability to manage high-volume recruitment under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws, visa processing, and offshore/onshore recruitment regulations.
  • Multilingual skills (Hindi/Urdu, & English)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical (preferred) / Human Resources or strong in related fields.
  • Minimum 2–5 years’ recruitment experience in the oil & gas or energy sector (agency or in-house).
    Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in technical roles (engineers, technicians, operators, etc.)

Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, role specifications, and project needs across various roles in Valves, Fabrication, Boiler, HVAC and Turbine.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for skilled categories such as engineers, technicians, project managers, operators, and offshore crew.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, client-specific requirements, and industry HSE standards in recruitment processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients / Hiring Managers in the oil & gas sector to understand workforce planning and upcoming project requirements.
  • Project Creation: Set up recruitment projects for mechanical roles within our recruitment platform.
  • Job Advertisement: Post targeted job advertisements to attract skilled mechanical professionals.
  • Requisition Management: Create requisitions for each role within the mechanical industry (maintenance engineers, mechanical technicians, design engineers, etc.).
  • CV Management: Review incoming CVs and accurately categorize them as Ready-to-Hire.
  • Recruiter Review: Conduct detailed CV screenings and shortlist candidates based on technical and industry-specific criteria.
  • Candidate Assessment: Perform phone screenings to evaluate technical knowledge, certifications, and suitability for mechanical roles.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between shortlisted candidates and clients.
  • Profile Accuracy: Ensure all shortlisted profiles are complete, accurate, and updated in the system, including relevant certifications (HVAC, hydraulics, welding).
  • Talent Pipeline: Maintain a steady pipeline of Ready-to-Hire candidates across all mechanical categories, ensuring availability for urgent and long-term client needs.
