As an integral member of the team, the Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment and assessment of candidates as well as the fulfillment of clients hiring needs for our office in BRANTFORD. Ultimately, this role is responsible for providing both candidates and clients a professional and positive experience with Prodigy Personnel. Successful candidates will be responsible for leading the recruitment and staffing efforts on several lead accounts in a busy staffing agency. Must have your own vehicle as you will be travelling within in Brantford at Client sites
Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Reliable transportation - travel is required for this role
· Be resourceful and can take initiative when required
· Previous HR / staffing industry experience asset (min. 1 year)but not required
· Proven leadership; ability to lead a team to surpass targets and expectations
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Strong computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and an Applicant Tracking System
· High attention to detail and organizational efficiency

Responsibilities

· Greeting candidates and dealing with any concerns, requests, or inquiries via in person meetings, phone, email, and text
· Comfortable travelling to and from other branches to train and assist with clients. Reliable transportation is required.
· Assisting with the flow of associates on site and helping them settle into their shift; answering any queries the associates or supervisors may have
· Performing various client onsite duties including but not limited to; attending meetings and tours, attendance taking, participating in site Health & Safety initiatives and addressing any client or associate concerns
· Following up with the supervisor and ensuring the shift is running smoothly on a day-to-day basis
· Assisting with candidate pre-screening process by contacting applicants, scheduling registration appointments, administering candidate testing and conducting interviews
· Creating and managing job postings
· Responding to client requests and inquiries via phone or email
· Filling various industrial positions with qualified and skilled candidates
· Working with leadership team to develop strategies to solve any concerns or issues
· All other duties as required
