Title: Recruiter, Talent Acquisition APAC Location: Singapore Reporting: Talent Acquisition Manager, APAC (based in Singapore) Summary The Recruiter will be responsible for shaping talent strategies and driving a strong consistent brand. This role will support recruiting in Asia including manufacturing and commercial organizations (primary focus on Singapore, China, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Malaysia) with extended scope to support other regional hires when required and coordinating with Japan Talent Acquisition team to provide support and deliver APAC Regional goals as aligned. Responsible for turning business strategy into an actionable talent strategy by building proactive recruiting plans to address critical talent gaps, helping the organization assess and select talent for both today’s and tomorrow’s needs and ultimately creating competitive advantage in the business and talent marketplace. Accountabilities Managing end-to end recruitment life cycle Consult with Senior Business and HR leaders on critical senior talent gaps and drive an effective and efficient talent strategy in support of the business Understand the business strategy, consult on the overall aligned talent strategy and be able to deliver on the executive recruiting strategy Drive a strong talent assessment process Network and build a talent pipeline with industry leaders, assess and ultimately attract the highest skilled professionals Proactive pipeline development including designing, building and maintaining a strong and diverse network of potential candidates Screen, evaluate and qualify candidates, including conducting in-depth candidate interviews to develop a deep understanding of candidate qualifications and competencies Provide written candidate profiles and search status reports and provide counsel regarding the interview process as well as the assessment and evaluation of candidates Be the primary negotiator and closer with selected candidates Develop and maintain relevant market and competitive intelligence, proactively sharing with business leaders to inform business and talent decisions Maintain hands on understanding of innovative recruitment tools, technologies and best practices Constantly evaluate overall service delivery portfolio to ensure a robust sourcing strategy; a positive customer-centric candidate and stakeholder experience Work with local and Global TA teams to foster mutually beneficial relationships and align resources Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred At least 8 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition function with recruitment experience in a retained search firm, agency, or corporation Experience working with high-level executives and teams Track record of flawless execution and a strong ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-oriented, high-demand environment with tight deliverables Strong organizational and follow-up skills; ability to prioritize and process a high volume of work for multiple teams Ability to work successfully in an environment with high visibility and the ability to manage complex and sensitive situations independently Solid presentation and strong communication capabilities Ability to handle and maintain confidential information Comfortable participating/contributing to a global team environment Experience with Workday preferred / experience with an ATS required Self-starter, confident, highly accountable, great with building relationships with managers and other business leaders including HR Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) or Advanced Internet Recruiting Strategies (AIRS), preferred Experience recruiting across APAC markets highly advantageous Professional Mandarin communication skills required to manage China market Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
