Description
As a Driver Recruiter at QXO, you will play a critical role in hiring CDL Drivers and supporting talent needs across our Field Operations teams. You’ll manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from intake to offer, and ensure every candidate and hiring manager experiences a high-quality, timely, and professional process. This role requires exceptional communication, strong operational partnership, and the ability to manage a high volume of requisitions while delivering consistently fast, effective hiring outcomes. You will partner closely with Branch Managers, Regional Leaders, and HR to understand workforce needs and build proactive pipelines of Driver talent. We’re looking for bold, entrepreneurial talent ready to help build something extraordinary — and reshape the future of building products distribution. QXO is a publicly traded company founded by Brad Jacobs with the goal of building the market-leading company in the building products distribution industry. On April 30, 2025, QXO completed its first acquisition: Beacon Building Products, a leading distributor in the sector. We are building a customer-focused, tech-enabled, and innovation-driven business that will scale rapidly through accretive M&A, organic growth, and greenfield expansion. Our strategy is rooted in delivering exceptional customer experiences, improving operational efficiency, and leveraging data, digital tools, and AI to modernize a historically under-digitized industry. What you'll do: Own the full-cycle recruiting process for CDL Drivers and other Field Operations roles, including intake, posting, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and managing offers. Develop sourcing strategies to build proactive, qualified pipelines of CDL Drivers, including passive outreach, community partnerships, digital sourcing, and referral engagement. Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to Branch Managers, HR Business Partners, and field leadership—aligning on workforce needs, hiring urgency, and candidate profiles. Guide hiring leaders on interview best practices, assessment methods, compensation recommendations, and closing strategies. Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance. Maintain accurate, real-time updates in iCIMS and internal tracking tools to support reporting and compliance. Collaborate closely with the Driver Recruiting Manager and broader TA team to share insights, process improvements, and market intelligence. Manage a high volume of requisitions simultaneously while maintaining strong communication and follow-through. Participate in regular meetings with TA leadership, HR, and field partners to discuss progress, priorities, and hiring strategies. Monitor recruiting-related spend and ensure adherence to budget guidelines. What you'll bring: 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting; high-volume or driver recruiting experience strongly preferred. Strong sourcing capability with proven success attracting passive CDL talent. Excellent communication, relationship building, and influencing skills. Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience using ATS platforms (preferably iCIMS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter. Data-driven mindset with ability to leverage metrics to drive recruiting decisions and performance. Knowledge of structured interviewing techniques and recruiting compliance best practices. Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage time effectively with minimal supervision. Professional presence, sound judgment, and ability to represent QXO’s values. What you'll earn 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance PTO, company holidays, and parental leave Paid training and certifications Legal assistance and identity protection Pet insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
