What We Are Looking For The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates to support Thread Bank's growth and operational needs. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate communication, interview coordination, and onboarding. The Recruiter works collaboratively with department heads and hiring managers to identify talent that aligns with Thread Bank's mission and culture. What you'll do Source and attract qualified candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, recruitment agencies, and other professional networks Screen resumes and conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit Coordinate interview panels, prepare interview materials, and facilitate the selection process with hiring managers Conduct background checks and reference verifications in accordance with company policy and legal requirements Extend job offers, negotiate employment terms, and communicate offer details to candidates Manage the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and system access setup Maintain and monitor the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment pipeline Generate recruiting metrics and reports to track recruitment progress, time-to-fill, and cost-per-hire Post job openings to internal and external job boards, LinkedIn, and the company career portal Participate in recruiting events, career fairs, and university recruitment activities to build the talent pipeline Maintain job descriptions and coordinate updates with hiring managers and department heads Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and candidate information in accordance with company policy Support continuous process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Human Resources or business needs Qualifications Nashville Office Based Position M-F 2–4 years of professional recruiting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software Strong attention to detail and accuracy in candidate screening and documentation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple recruiting priorities and meet established timelines Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Experience recruiting in the financial services, banking, or fintech industry SHRM-CP or AIRS certification Experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar recruiting platforms Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the position and, if requested, Thread Bank will make reasonable accommodations to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job, absent undue hardship, in accordance with the ADA.
