Description
About the Role At TechTorch we set out to redefine technology consulting. We combine the agility of a start-up with the discipline and rigor demanded by the most sophisticated clients, delivering AI-powered solutions that drive measurable value at speed and scale. To build our high-performance team, we are looking for a Recruiter who can raise the bar. Your job is simple in principle and demanding in practice: Consistently hire outstanding talent. That means delivering 4-6 high-quality hires per month that are not only a great fit for the role, but also a win for our culture. You’ll own the full hiring cycle. You’ll manage inbound candidates, proactively source to maintain momentum, activate referrals, run sharp screening interviews, and ensure we close top candidates. You won’t wait for the right talent to appear – you’ll make sure we find and hire them. This is a remote role with real autonomy. We don’t care where you work from. We care about hiring outcomes. You’ll be trusted to manage your pipeline, prioritize effectively, and pull in the right stakeholders to close great people. As we scale, you’ll also help strengthen the recruiting engine itself. You’ll use data to understand what’s working, fix what isn’t, and improve speed and quality over time. Our process is still shaping up. You’ll help make it scalable and consistent. If you see ambitious growth goals as a challenge worth taking on, are energized by persuading exceptional talent to join something new, and are excited to build a recruiting engine for a startup, then this role is for you! Pipeline Ownership & Hiring Outcomes Deliver hiring targets of 4-6 high-quality hires per month across consulting roles (from Analyst to Senior Manager), and occasionally support technical hiring (e.g., AI Developer) Manage inbound applicant flow while proactively building outbound pipelines to ensure consistent velocity. Build and activate a strong employee referral engine and use whatever sourcing strategies are necessary to ensure the right talent enters the funnel. Proactively report hiring performance and outlook to leadership. Full-Cycle Execution Run structured screening interviews and assess quality rigorously. Coordinate a seamless interview process for candidates and hiring managers. Deliver a thoughtful, high-quality candidate experience from first interaction through closing. Drive offers confidently through to acceptance. Hiring Strategy and Process Optimization Partner with leadership to define hiring strategies and candidate evaluation standards. Build structured recruitment processes, SLAs, and reporting standards in Ashby. Leverage key metrics to improve speed, conversion rates, and hiring quality. Leverage AI tools to increase sourcing effectiveness and recruiter leverage. Provide market intelligence on talent trends, compensation, and competitor hiring activity. This Role is for Someone Who Is energized by our ambitious growth targets and measurable outcomes Operates with urgency, autonomy, and commercial awareness Persuades accomplished professionals to make bold career moves Uses data to continuously improve the recruiting engine Thrives in fast-moving environments with evolving processes This Role will Frustrate Someone Who Is uncomfortable being accountable for hiring velocity Prefers inbound applicants over proactive sourcing Needs fully defined processes before executing Avoids direct candidate persuasion or competitive recruiting Wants to manage a recruiting team rather than personally drive outcomes Qualification 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the US market Demonstrated ability to deliver 4-6 hires per month, ideally in a high-growth environment Strong outbound sourcing capabilities and comfort engaging passive candidates Proven experience in hiring consulting or management professionals; experience in hiring technical profiles is a plus Data-driven and comfortable using metrics to improve recruiting performance Experience using an ATS effectively; familiarity with Ashby is a plus Autonomous, self-driven, and comfortable operating without heavy oversight Strong existing network among consulting professionals (e.g., Big Four, Accenture, technology consulting, strategy consulting) is a strong plus Must be authorized to work in the United States What We Offer A front-row seat to building a high-growth technology consultancy High ownership and direct impact on company trajectory Real autonomy in a remote-first environment The opportunity to build and shape a scalable recruiting function Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with performance and impact
Responsibilities
The recruiter will own the full hiring cycle, responsible for delivering 4-6 high-quality hires monthly across consulting and occasional technical roles by managing inbound candidates, sourcing proactively, and ensuring successful closures. Additionally, they will help strengthen the recruiting engine by using data to improve speed, quality, and process scalability.
