Position Summary: Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist will play a key role in supporting the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding process for new hires. This position requires a strong understanding of the manufacturing and engineering landscape, including technical skills, certifications, and workplace dynamics that define success in these environments. who is organized, people-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, team dynamics, and hiring needs.
  • Develop and execute tailored recruitment strategies to attract qualified professionals in manufacturing and engineering roles.
  • Source candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, industry events and job fairs.
  • Screen and assess candidates for technical qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting processes from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, candidate pipeline status).
  • Stay updated on industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and labor market conditions in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist with developing and implementing retention plans; preparing reports and recommending procedures to reduce turnover and increase employee morale
  • Conducts exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination
  • Performs all other duties as directed by Management
