To learn more, please visit our company website: https://mckinneysl.com/ Position Overview: The Recruiting Coordinator will play a key role in our talent acquisition efforts by sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for candidates across a variety of laboratory and technical positions. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and HR to ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding. This role can be remote, but the candidate must live in VA, NC, FL, or MD. This role is a contract to assist with a large hiring initiative over the next 3-6 months. This role will be W2 so please no c2c candidates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates for laboratory and scientific roles using multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn, networking, employee referrals, etc.). Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for high-demand positions. Conduct phone screens to assess candidate experience, technical knowledge, communication skills, and overall fit for lab-based roles. Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear summaries and recommendations. Schedule and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring teams. Manage interview logistics, including communication with candidates and coordination of multi-round or panel interviews. Maintain applicant tracking system (Paylocity) records and ensure data accuracy throughout the recruiting process. Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to refine job postings and ensure alignment with department needs. Support onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the laboratory environment. Necessary Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities. · Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. · Minimum 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within a scientific or laboratory industry. · Proven experience sourcing and screening candidates for specialized or hard-to-fill roles. · Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.). · Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders. · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously. · Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
