About the Role Step is looking for our next Recruiting Coordinator to manage the day-to-day details that keep our recruiting engine running smoothly and ensure a great experience for every candidate. You'll be a key representative of Step's recruiting process — supporting candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company. In this role, you will: Own end-to-end interview scheduling across multiple time zones and complex panel interviews Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a warm, responsive, and professional experience throughout the process Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to keep requisitions, pipelines, and interview feedback organized and on track Continuously look for ways to improve recruiting workflows and candidate experience Coordinate candidate travel and expenses You might thrive in this role if you have: 3+ years scheduling or coordination experience in a fast-pace startup environment Self-directed with a high sense of urgency while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks Adaptable and able to shift gears at a moment's notice Excellent verbal and written communications skills Interested to grow your career in recruiting Familiarity with Greenhouse An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality — you act as an owner and move with urgency Logistics Location: Remote or San Mateo, CA, with occasional travel for team offsites and key meetings Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single qualification.
