The Position: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Intern to support our internal recruiting efforts and assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks. This role works closely with our Internal Recruiter and HR team and is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition and HR operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist the Internal Recruiter by screening candidate resumes. * Maintain and update candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). * Assist in managing interview calendars, send confirmations, and handle follow-up communications. * Conduct and document reference checks for selected candidates. * Support HR with a range of administrative tasks such as preparing documents, entering data, and organizing files. * Assist with employees onboarding logistics when required. * Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team.   Minimum Requirements: * Strong skills using Microsoft Suite * Can multi-task and work in a fast-paced energetic environment * Works independently as well as in a team environment * Prior experience supporting a start-up organization is highly desired.   Education or Desired License and Certificates: * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business from accredited university or college  * 1 years of experience in HR or related fields * Renewable energy industry experiences are plus   Competencies * Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity * Self-starter, strong initiatives and an excellent communicator * Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks * Evidence of exceptional interpersonal skills * Maintains a high degree of professionalism - can interface with all levels of the organization as a primary point of contact for team   Travel * Less than 5%   Work Location and Status: * Contractor, Costa Mesa, CA or Houston, TX or remotely working.  * No Visa Sponsorship    Compensation: * Compensation commensurate with experience * Competitive benefits package and employee programs * Strong personal and company growth opportunities     For candidates in the states of California, Colorado, New York and Washington, the anticipated annual base salary for this role is between $20 - $25 per hour. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
