Description
The Recruiting Lead will manage on-site recruiters and help to drive sourcing, interviewing and onboarding processes to ensure we hire qualified employees to meet current and future needs for assigned Client(s). They will be directly accountable for coaching, mentoring and monitoring the progress of Recruiters. In addition, they may share responsibility with the Recruiting team for the sourcing, selection and placement of Client(s) orders.

This position will work to drive the use of standard practices and technology by all Recruiters, ensuring we meet our clients’ demands efficiently and timely.

  • Manage the recruiting team and report on its performance. Work to ensure all orders are actively being worked, clients are being updated and processes are being followed.
  • Responsible for coaching, mentoring and monitoring the progress of Recruiters.
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire, retention, etc).
  • May share responsibility with the Recruiting team for the sourcing, selection and placement of Client(s) orders.
  • Advise on-site managers on interviewing techniques.
  • Coordinate with clients to forecast future hiring needs.
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes).
  • Foster an environment that fully utilizes technology to aid in driving measurable business results.
  • Uncovers and shares best practices for service delivery and client engagement with appropriate internal partners.
  • Work to drive the use of standard practices and technology by all Recruiters, ensuring we meet our clients’ demands efficiently and timely.
  • Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. local communities outsourcing, social recruiting and Boolean searches).
  • Research and choose job advertising options (e.g. out of the box recruiting scenarios).
  • Participate in job fairs and career events.
  • Build the Manpower’s professional network through relationships with clients, HR professionals, colleges and other partners.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in recruiting, with the ability to lead others.
  • Hands-on experience with staffing Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience with (phone, in-person and video) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation.
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to influence the opinions or decisions of others.
  • Ability to find and apply client-specific requirements.
  • Ability to navigate within the Manpower systems.
  • Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications through the use of resumes, interviews, assessments and reference checks.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with customers, vendors, contract employees and staff.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to internal colleges and help hold team members accountable for established metrics.
