Description Barcelona Wine Bar is looking for a Recruiting Manager. As a member of the People Team this individual will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting effort as well as developing and nurturing relationships with Operations teams. A successful candidate will be positive, proactive, and flexible, and must possess a strong attention to detail. This position reports directly to the Director of HR/People Team. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Sources, accesses, and recommends Operations level candidates to fill vacant positions from internal and external sources. Present detailed candidate profile summaries. Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates. Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance rates, and source effectiveness. Maintain accurate candidate records and reporting within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, efficiency, and scalability. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and hiring regulations. Organizes and Coordinates RJP/Trails for respective candidates. Perform reference checks when appropriate or requested on potential hires. Performs other related duties as assigned. SKILLS & ABILITIES Understanding of fair employment practices Exceptional work ethic Exemplary communication skills Strong customer service skills Excellent relationship management skills (effective communication, listening conflict resolution) Experience with assessment interviewing activities Must be able to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple assignments/tasks simultaneously Must have a high level of confidentiality EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 5+ years of multi-unit restaurant recruiting experience. Preferably in a polished casual, high-volume environment. Multi-unit restaurant or hospitality recruiting experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting new restaurant openings or rapid growth environments. Knowledge of hospitality labor markets and leadership recruiting trends. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.
