JOB DESCRIPTION – RECRUITING MANAGER

Position Title: Recruiting Manager
Reports To: Director of Recruiting / VP of Human Resources
Location: Waukegan, IL.
FLSA Status: Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY

The Recruiting Manager is responsible for leading and managing the recruiting team to ensure the successful sourcing, screening, and placement of candidates for client accounts. This role oversees full-cycle recruiting operations, drives recruiting strategies to meet client demands, ensures compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations, and partners closely with client-facing teams to maintain high service levels.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5-7 years of recruiting experience in a staffing agency, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of light industrial and food manufacturing recruiting.
• Familiarity with I-9, E-Verify, FMLA, and other employment compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in ATS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
