Job Details Job Location: Irving, TX Position Type: FT1 Salary Range: $68000.00 - $68000.00 Salary Description Position Summary The Outreach Specialist is responsible for continuously building a high volume of qualified clinical prospects at the top of the recruitment funnel. Responsible for contributing to the development of sourcing strategies and executing on sourcing plans at the regional and national level. The Outreach Specialist is responsible for leveraging diverse resources including paid and non-paid platforms, online social and professional networking sites, specialized sites, referral network, cold calls and outreach to surgeons, residency programs, and events to connect with candidates. This individual should be a subject-matter expert on best-practices in talent sourcing, well-versed in a wide range of sourcing techniques, and proficient utilizing a variety of sourcing and recruiting platforms. The Outreach Specialist is responsible for researching and identifying: potential partnerships within professional associations, academic institutions, and organizations to ensure broad outreach to engage and attract passive candidates, and new innovative sourcing methods and/or platforms that support surgeon recruiting. The Outreach Specialist will also lead or participate in sourcing projects and/or special projects that focus on delivering improvements in the department's processes, tools, and technology to support the growth of the organization. He or she will work closely with our Marketing leads on campaigns. This individual will travel with or in lieu of the Recruiters to support recruitment efforts at conferences, society meetings, and residency events. Responsibilities Source and identify candidates (practicing surgeons & residents as needed) for open positions through various channels, including internal position responses, referrals, internet tools, direct recruiting, job fairs, etc. to ensure timely, quality candidate placements and a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates. Researches and identifies sourcing opportunities for the department. Collect, analyze and maintain sourcing data gathered to report to leadership. Responsible for maintaining the sourcing portion of the recruitment campaign, including posting and maintaining print, online, direct mail and any other campaigns decided upon, in partnership with Recruitment Marketing team. Manage postings on clinical job boards and the USOSM website as well as niche and social media sites as deemed appropriate. Input & update leads into ATS/CRM database and maintain database integrity. Responsible for assisting with mailers and special projects as needed. Respond promptly to candidates and internal team via email, phone or in-person. Will assist with candidate application reviews and conduct initial-prescreens on sourced applicants, referred vetted candidates to Recruiters. Cold calls to potential candidates, manage text & email campaigns with Recruitment Marketing lead. Provide support in creation of social media posts & campaigns as needed. Travel approximately 1-3 times/month to represent USOSM at conferences or recruiting events. Work overtime when required, weekends as needed. Other duties as assigned. Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare recruiting position required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs. Project management experience a plus. U.S. work authorization (preferred) Position Mental and Physical Demands (per ADA guidelines) Physical Demands: Sitting, standing or walking for long periods of time. Regularly requires using computer keyboard, mouse and telephone. Lifting and carrying objects such as books and files weighing up to 15 pounds. Close vision work and ability to adjust focus.
