  • Working in an in-house recruitment or HR role with recruitment responsibilities.
  • Using and supporting others with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Advising and coaching managers on recruitment best practices and candidate experience.
  • Creating inclusive job adverts and understanding the importance of diversity in hiring.
  • Handling confidential information with sensitivity and understanding of data protection regulations.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Are you passionate about enabling others and driving inclusive, efficient recruitment practices? We’re looking for a Recruitment Advisor on a Fixed-Term Contract to join our team for 12 months and support hiring managers in delivering a self-service recruitment model. You’ll be the go-to expert for recruitment guidance, tools, and training—empowering managers to confidently and compliantly manage their hiring needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on how we attract and hire talent across the business, supporting recruitment across Spirax Group functions and our UK Sales, Supply and global-facing central functions; Steam Business Development and IS.

YOUR OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL FOCUS ON…

  • Acting as the first point of contact for recruitment queries and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Delivering one-to-one coaching and training to hiring managers, championing best practices and inclusive hiring.
  • Managing the Cornerstone Recruit system, ensuring requisitions are approved, tracked, and up to date.
  • Maintaining recruitment metrics and documentation to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Developing and maintaining recruitment toolkits, templates, and guidance materials.
  • Supporting the achievement of our Group Diversity Goals by prioritising internal and direct hiring.
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies when necessary, ensuring adherence to our Preferred Supplier List.
  • Ensuring job descriptions and adverts are inclusive and aligned with our values.
  • Acting as an escalation point for pre-boarding queries and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
